Current:- rate of flow of charge through any cross-section of conductor(wire).

Current= I                S.I unit of I = A (ampere)
Charge=q                 S.I unit of q = C (coulomb)
Time=t                     S.I unit of t = s (seconds)
               
               Formula=>                I=q/t

                     also                    I=n*e/t

n=number of electrons
