How to install Tata Sky or airtel or Dish tv antenna when you lost the reception of signals

Sometimes when your dish(circular shape antenna made of metal) stop getting signals due to many reasons like:-

1) Somehow direction of dish changed dues to wind/storm or someone got suddenly hit by dish and changed the direction
2) weather conditions arn't good at all, sky is full of clouds and chances of rain or in rainy session.
3) something is obstructing the path of the signal may be wall of you neighbor or your neighbor is constructing the house and due increasing the height of their house
4) connection got loosen at dish LNB(round cylinderical thing which is pointed toward plate(dish) or at end of STB check all connection and reconnect them)
5)Your STB goes faulty which cause unable to convert signals into media at you tv
6) Someone change by mistake or forcefully the frequency setting in STB.

call your provider they will tell you some steps to follow if it wont works it means your dish direction is changed.

You an install dish by urself from one wall to another but there is only one difference is company guy who install the dish has Satellite finder meter and you dont have. This is how company takes advantage of you and charge you to install dish

before doing anything you have to homework on whole setup what is LNB what is STB, how dish catches the signals etc.

Need:-

One thing which you want is patience, without patience you cant install it.
It may take 3-5Hrs at initially if everything is good, ones you know the steps you can install it without any problem.
One person near Tv because when your dish is aligned in right direction your Tv will start broadcasting the channels.
You have find the direction for you satellite which your work easier each companies has satellite in either in east west north south and in between them also which doesnt changes. Example:-tata sky satellite is in SE 83 angle.

you can get this from electronics store or at online website starting price Rs.200 or  $3 to $4 easily.

It has two terminal one for LNB and one for STB, you have to connect STB coming wire into STB terminal in Satellite meter (must be written on back side) and your meter will start working from STB power.
One thing you have to do is a small 2m wire with connectors attached at the end of this similar like STB coming wire connector.This part will connect your LNB to Satellite meter.
Now your circuit will be completed after connecting meter in between LNB and STB it works like mediator.
Adjust the Nob till reading scale reaches to 5 (you can increase it to 7-8 for more sensitivity).
Now move your dish up and down , left and right so meter scale start deflecting.

When meter scale shows maximum reading it means your dish got the right direction of signals from satellite. Now contact that person who is near Tv he/she will tell that Tv start reception of signals or not.

>If you select HD STB then they wont tell you that HD fees is excluded while you recharge monthly package (you will be attracted to their attractive monthly package deal) because you have to recharge channel package cost + HD access fees.

>Most of them wont give you bill because they believe STB belongs to them.This is mentioned in they terms and conditions(Example:-Tata Sky,Dish,airtel etc).Their is loose point in their t&c is nowhere is written that they are giving you on rent or lease mean they selled the item and you gave the money mean Item is automatically sold.

>If you want to move or displace your dish antenna to another location or address they will charge you cost. most important thing they want tell you that if your dish stop getting reception of signals and there is need of displacing antenna from one wall to another wall at same rooftop at same address they will charge you the cost even under the warranty period.
There is nothing special in installing dish , you can install it automatically but reception of signal can be only detected by satellite meter. If you knows how to operate satellite meter you can install you dish by just knowing the right direction for your dish(East, West,North,South).


> They says that after deactivation they will take STB and dish back. Remember guys no one can take STB and Dish back without your permission because you paid the money, If they threaten you use the reference of consumer court and ask for your money. You are liable for your 50% money which you paid at the time of installation



So please beware before switching to these there is no doubt that they provide excellent service but with miss guidance .
