This is specially for those who lives in India and want to switch to Tata sky, airtel, dish or whatever
It's always big deal when you switch your tv cable to dth or dish specially in Asia region. But before doing that you must know what actually they does when they install dish at your home.
Reality of Tata sky,airtel,dish tv etc.
Reality:-
>They will explain like nothing best than their dish. Its obvious that everybody does that.>They will explain you in fast mode with confusion mode ON.You will be confused in their
conversation and forget the important question.
>They will completely satisfies you hiding some major and minor details.
>They charge more for HD, recorder and 4K set top box.
>Uses 1 dish for 2 and 3 tv connections at same place if you want 2 or more connection at your home.
>If you select HD STB then they wont tell you that HD fees is excluded while you recharge monthly package (you will be attracted to their attractive monthly package deal) because you have to recharge channel package cost + HD access fees.
>Most of them wont give you bill because they believe STB belongs to them.This is mentioned in they terms and conditions(Example:-Tata Sky,Dish,airtel etc).Their is loose point in their t&c is nowhere is written that they are giving you on rent or lease mean they selled the item and you gave the money mean Item is automatically sold.
>If you want to move or displace your dish antenna to another location or address they will charge you cost. most important thing they want tell you that if your dish stop getting reception of signals and there is need of displacing antenna from one wall to another wall at same rooftop at same address they will charge you the cost even under the warranty period.
There is nothing special in installing dish , you can install it automatically but reception of signal can be only detected by satellite meter. If you knows how to operate satellite meter you can install you dish by just knowing the right direction for your dish(East, West,North,South).
> They says that after deactivation they will take STB and dish back. Remember guys no one can take STB and Dish back without your permission because you paid the money, If they threaten you use the reference of consumer court and ask for your money. You are liable for your 50% money which you paid at the time of installation
So please beware before switching to these there is no doubt that they provide excellent service but with miss guidance .
